The kids & I decided that we should share the Rummikub love after playing yesterday.

This is a super fun family game, perfect for summertime heat waves (like ours), camping trips, rainy afternoons & even grown up game night! ;)

So...

I'm giving away a brand new Rummikub game,

winner to be announced on Monday, July 2nd.

To register to win, all you have to do is share your favorite summer dish (main, side, dessert, drink) in the comments. You can name it, post a link to where you've pinned it, blogged about it, or just found it online.

If you blog about this fun giveaway, we'll put your name in the bowl twice. Just leave link to your blog in the comments below.

  4. Well, this is not really a recipe, but something we LOVE to do all summer long....my kiddos especially love it, and they can even do it themselves (my girls anyway!) Take some fresh corn, husk, silk, and rinse it, and wrap in a wet paper towel. Pop it in the microwave for 2 minutes, and yummy corn! No better way to enjoy fresh corn from Farmers Market. So fast! And, no link for this one-- got this from my mama! The BEST link of all! ;)

  6. Thanks for posting the yummy recipes, Mandy! We have an over abundance of zucchini from our garden so I've been trying out new kid friendly recipes. I've pinned several. The zucchini chips & zucchini boats (the boys say taste just like pizza) are our favs!

  7. I assume as a family member & fellow rummikube owner, I am exempt from winning (which is fine and fair) but thought I would share my favorite summer dish - tomatoes. Yes, just plain ole, sliced with a little salt. Dress those bad boys up with your baked parmesan recipe above, and we'll be cookin' jack!

  8. I love summertime. We grill all summer long, so main dishes consist of steak, ribs, chicken with a variety of seasonings. Side dishes are normally grilled vegetables, squash, okra, potatos, zucchini, tomatoes in aluminum foil baskets, chop veggies, salt and add a little butter equals perfection, dessert is kept simple, ice cream, pudding or frozen popsicles, drink water, grape juice or sweet tea. Oh how I enjoy the summertime.

  9. I have had to be pretty adventurous this summer because we are doing a CSA for the first time in more than a decade. Each week we always have at least one new veggie or fruit we don't normally eat. It's fun but can be daunting. This week however we had a large 'white watermelon'(not sure if that's what it's called??) Because I had just juiced some carrots and apples I decided to juice part of the melon. OMG! It is the sweetest, most delicious juice I've ever tasted. I added ice and club soda. Delicious! For a more adult beverage, adding vodka along with the club soda made a very refreshing cocktail not to mention attractive in a martini glass with a melon garnish...Love your blog!
